NAIDOC Week 2018

The first week in July is recognized Nationally as NAIDOC Week and as such we will be holding NAIDOC Day events, on Wednesday 4^th July, to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. 

For this special day we will be joined by students from Moonbi and Woolbrook Public Schools as well as members of The Opportunity Hub in Tamworth and Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service.

Our day will begin at 9:30am with a welcome and Acknowledgment of Country. Students will then participate in workshops around dance, art, weapons and tools, traditional Aboriginal games and traditional story telling by the fire, with proceedings finishing at 2:00pm.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided on this day at no charge.
